So should I not go to the concert and go to "mens" group? I almost feel
that I would be recieving more spiritual nurishment from the concert than this
group of "men". So Im not too sure... Your
thoughts?

My thoughts:

I don't know. I feel sort of torn. On one hand, you made a commitment to men's group (even if it didn't live up to your expectations) but I gotta agree that there's more spiritual food at the concert.

But men's group was pretty cool and intense at first right? Maybe now that the house is done they're going to start up again.

My gang's not coming tonight because there's a big school function ( a once a year tradition) and no one wants to miss it. But I'd still be totally up for going to the concert, even without my crew.

If we stay tonight, you'd have a chance to talk to your Dad and mom about the rent situation, and the men won't think that you're avoiding men's group intentionally (which they'll think. cause they're...them.) But we miss the concert. Boo.

If we go, we can support Allaway (YAY!) and hang out with heather and Brian (they're going too), but we're out late and your dad's feelers are hurt.


Ultimately, I think that either situation can be recovered from (there will be more allaway concerts/your dad will forgive you)

I guess again we're down to making a decision based on obligation vs. desire.

I flocking HATE being a grown up.

Oh but, hey GUESS WHAT?! I got the job!! ELEVEN-FITTTTY an hour. (Does happy dance)

So to sum-up: I'm flexible. We can go, we can stay, I can go/you stay, I'll go to men's meeting and pretend to be you/you can go. There's all kinds of options.

If you would still be willing to go, I would love you forever. Hate to
twist your arm in to going to a rock concert though. Hard times. Ill
go to mens group and tough out the night. Hey guess what? YOu
freaking rock my socks! Congrats on the job! Well done. I have
to leave early today to hit les schwab and get an alignment done... my tire is
at about a 15 degree canter right now. bad times. Talk to you soon

Yeah I'll go--I'll just take skeylar and hope heather's as nice to me without you there as she was the other day.

Either way I'll get to see Curtis, and maybe Sabrina will be there and I can expose her to me some more.

That makes me sound like a disease or something.

I'm gonna go run, so I might be in the shower when you get back. Oh, and now that I have a job, do you think you'd be interested in getting a gym membership? I want to get one (preferrably with tanning) and I thought we could go together. I'd prolly work out in the ladies-only rooms, but we'd still be keeping each other accountable and going together and stuff. I don't know, what do you think?
